A Literary Change of Address

Hi all,

This post is just to let you know that my address has changed until further notice. I am doing a buddy read of Under the Dome with the Reader's Paradise group from over at Goodreads. I have not read anything by Stephen King for a while and I have to tell you, the book is going sooo good so far. The last book I read by Mr. King was the Gunslinger which is the first in the Dark Tower Series. Although I liked the story it was kind of hard to get into and I have books two and three sitting on my bookshelf that I received as gifts. I promise to make a special effort to continue them but in the meantime I will be under this mysterious shield for a while because Under the Dome is a tome of just over one thousand pages. So, until I turn page 1074 my address is:

Olivia Teese
Chester's Mill
Maine, New England

And my condolences to that poor little woodchuck...

I'll let you know how it's going.

Enjoy your day!

The Schizophrenic Phase

How are you guys doing?

I received my proof copies of The Tourist on Wednesday. Whoo hoo! Uhm, whoo-nooo! I was so happy for about ten seconds. Then terror set in when I thought about the day when the 'publish now button' is to be clicked.! I decided that the book will never see the light of day and I threw it to the ground and stepped on it-well...stomped is more accurate. The next minute I snatched my baby off the floor and wiped her off. Writing is an experience like no other; I spent the past five months in a serious Jekyll and Hyde mode. It went something like this:

-Oh my...I love that scene, it's definitely my favourite.
-Seriously Olivia? What the heck is this?
-I hate this book!
-This laptop is going to die today!
-The Tourist is killing me...I am going to die today!
-I love this book!
-Can't wait to finish so I can share this story.
-I can't let go of this book-ever!

You may be wondering which Olivia is on duty today, well it's the Olivia that changed her mind and is going to publish The Tourist. I am tentatively eyeing November for the release and trying to pin down a date. If you're on my mailing list you will receive further details next month.

Have a good one my friends!
