I
say somewhat because usually, there are about two other people living in my
head but when writing, it can get pretty crowded up there. Right now, in this
moment, it’s just the usual residents, so things are normal….normal for Olivia
that is. Writing can drive one mad. Sometimes you’re so eager to wrap up a book
to ease the mental strain and before you know it, more stories are spilling out
of your brain and your fingers get itchy for a pen or keyboard…sigh.
So,
post-schizophrenic phase is awesome! I feel unburdened-like a new human being
and it feels so, so good to have a break. I bought about 18 paperbacks the
other day to dig into; don’t know how many of them I will get to inhale before
the writing bug sinks its teeth into me but hey, just having them makes me
delirious! I got to spend a couple days being busy doing absolutely nothing,
ahhhhhh…it felt like heaven. And even had a chance to do some baking, something
I have not done in a long time.
Currently
I’m trying to finish Sherlock Holmes and the Lyme Regis Legacy and it’s become
a challenge trying to put a dent in Stephen King’s doorstopper, Under the Dome;
when a book includes a list of characters, you have a pretty good idea what
you’re in for. But the story is too good to let go.
In
