Book Talk and Stuff- Part 6

It has been a while and my apologies for being quiet for so long; hope I was not forgotten. And I hope your holiday season and the new  year were fabulous! I am starting off 2017 posts with some book reviews I’ve been meaning to put up for a while; if you have read any of them, your thoughts are welcome.

I enjoyed this follow up to Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. I laughed out loud at Bex and her gym disaster. It was good to see that scheming, sneaky heifer-b*tch, Alicia, get what she deserved. I figured out early that Luke was behind the bidding for the scarf scene and I thought that was really sweet of him. And I was happy to see Bex following her passion-in life many of us have jobs or careers doing something we are really good at but don't really love it and to be able to live and thrive through what we're really passionate about...well...very little else comes close....

When I read this short story I laughed my head off! It was a fun, mystery read. After it ended I immediately searched for other stories featuring PI Don but alas there were none *sad face*. It would be nice if there was a series featuring PI Don/Diva. If there actually is, let me know!

So, now that's over, let's talk a bit about movies. And when I say movies, I mean the ones with the ludicrous plots and corny acting that makes you simply ask "why?" Ehm, there's a Sharknado Part 4, yes I know...I have yet to watch it but I've seen the previous installments, and for those who personally know me, I will be hanging my head in fake shame the next time we meet! I just can't help it, they are silly and addictive! Now, if you have not watched Sand Sharks, please do! It is supremely ridiculous, and awful, and funny. The name says it all but let's be clear, it is not one of the addictive ones- once (if you make it through) and you're done! Sharktopus...there are no words that exist in any thesaurus or dictionary that will aptly describe how ridiculous that movie is-I reiterate...no words...

Well my dear readers that is all for now and I hope to connect with you again soon!

Stay fab!
